Equine bedding manufacturer easibed is donating almost 100 bales of their quality dust free bedding to the charity Redwings Horse Sanctuary.

easibed and Redwings have long been acquainted as the former has been the charity’s  supplier of horse bedding for 5 years now.  They use the dust free bedding in their field shelters because, unlike other beddings, easibed doesn’t blow around and it’s easy to skip out.

Emma Hudson, Marketing Manager of easibed, comments: “We couldn’t think of a charity more deserving of our donation than Redwings.  Hopefully, the donation of our easibed horse bedding should provide a warm, comfortable and hygienic environment for the equines in need – a need which has only grown greater through the course of this year.”

Rachel Angell, Redwings’ Head of Norfolk Equine Operations, says of the donation: “This generous donation from easibed really couldn’t have come at a better time for our operation as, like charities across the board, the pandemic has put considerable pressure on our finances with our visitor centres having to close and fundraising community events cancelled.”

Redwings is the UK’s largest horse sanctuary, responsible for over 2,000 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules, and funded solely by donations from its loyal supporters.  The charity looks to provide and promote the care and protection of all horses and donkeys by offering a place of safety to those in need, rehoming those with the potential for a fulfilling life outside the Sanctuary and educating owners and future generations about the value of horse welfare.
