Jessie, now 16 years old, is an easibed ambassador and up and coming dressage rider based at Huntercombe Horses in Oxfordshire.
Her passion for dressage has developed over the last few years since the age of 9 as she progressed from representing her pony club at National Championships with placings, through to Dressage U21’s UK and representing her region at home internationals.
Jessie has been using easibed for over seven years now: “As we became more serious and our dressage horses improved, we knew we would have to get better bedding, that’s when we asked our local retailer who recommended easibed The major benefits are being dust free and supportive and it’s great that it doesn’t move around especially with the bigger horses.”
In 2016 Jess was first selected to represent Great Britain for Team GB and has since represented Team GB across Europe on more than 15 occasions. In 2019 she moved onto horses (a year early) and in her first year has represented Team GB on several occasions.
Jessie trains with Giles Carradine at Huntercombe Horses and Paul Fielder (Team GB Youth trainer) and also Olympic and World Champion, Charlotte Dujardin who has mentored her through her career so far.
Grayswood Orlando and Jessie represented GB on numerous occasions and were members of the GB Pony Prime Squad in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Cruz (belonging to Charlotte Dujardin) and Jessie represented GB through 2017 with top 3 placings internationally and were members of the GB Pony Prime Squad.
Belle Amie is Jessie’s junior horse and they are members of the GB International Junior Squad. They have represented GB through 2019 and are looking forward to the 2020 season ahead.
In addition to her busy competition schedule, Jessie is also producing her own young horse who is talented and being developed slowly for longevity – at his very first competition he convincingly won by several percent and is a credit to Jessie’s ability to produce in the correct and patient way.
