easibed is delighted to announce the ambassadorship of Scarlett Cox-Lomas, a 12 year old from Cheshire. Scarlett recently won first prize in the Car Fest North Mini Major Championship with easibed sponsored rider Chris Smith at Bolesworth. Scarlett was riding her HOYS Working Hunter qualifier Lillibet, whilst Chris was riding Bono I. Chris said: “Scarlett and Lillibet had a great round, she knew that she wanted us to come first, so I needed to pull out all the stops. It was fantastic that we won and Scarlett’s determination shone through.”
Scarlett has a developmental disability but is totally dedicated to her ponies, having been working with her own plus an extra six ponies this summer. “She has been helping out friends by schooling them and bringing them on in their various disciplines,” said Emma, Scarlett’s mum. “Her favourite pony Lillibet is an ex-therapy horse that was used to being groomed and the odd cuddle, but when her owner decided it was time for her to move on, Scarlett knew that if they worked hard together Lillibet had a sparkle and they would go far,” Emma added.
Scarlett also rides and competes on her other ponies including Timmy and Crystal. Her and her horses love dust-free easibed which speeds up her mucking out time and helps them with hoof health and breathing issues for the ponies.
We will keep up to date with Scarlett’s busy calendar and let you know how she and her ponies are getting on.
